Our Pharmacy programme offers world-class quality education with individual approach to each student, at a small faculty within a big European university, where rich history meets modern facilities, where tradition meets future. 

Our students come from all corners of the world and together create a diverse international environment in the classrooms. Classes are organised in small groups which is highly beneficial for the students' progress, and more than half of the classes are practical, where the theoretical knowledge is applied through hands-on experiences. 

Curriculum of the study programme covers knowledge and skills of a pharmacist in:

• preparation and production of drugs

• pharmacology and pharmacotherapy

• legal, economic and ethical principles of the pharmacist profession

• disposal of biologically active substances

6-month pharmacy internship is integral part of the studies. Students can combine undertaking internship in the Czech Republic and abroad. All students, regardless of their country of origin, can take advantage of various mobility programmes to spend semester or two at Masaryk University's partner institutions around the world.

The minimal requirement for study completion is 300 ECTS. After meeting this requirement, the students are allowed to take Final State Examination and defend their Diploma Thesis.

Master’s degree obtained at the Faculty of Pharmacy MU is compliant with EU Directive 2005/36/ES and therefore fully recognized in all EU member countries and most of the countries in the world.
